Drivers and freight forwarders usually play first fiddle—because they’re closest to the cargo, the road, and the customer. But behind the scenes, another, equally crucial side of logistics operates: the people in the back office, administration, and IT.
We decided to give them a voice and ask what they actually do every day and which tasks they’re most proud of. Here are their opinions:
Administration
“We make sure that every document has its place, every invoice is where it needs to be—and that the operations department can operate without paper chaos.”
Backoffice
“Our work often involves invisible threads—order entry, customer contact, system maintenance—everything that allows freight forwarders to focus on the route and time.”

“If something works—servers, systems, emails, access to platforms—it’s precisely because we care about it. Technology development, support, security—this is our daily routine.”
Accounting
“Everything has to be accurate for us, down to the last penny. Timely settlements, customer contact, and reporting—these aren’t just spreadsheets; they ensure the safety of the entire company.”
Thanks to them, shipments not only get shipped, but are also properly recorded, monitored, described, and embedded in the digital world.
